Local Content Auditing - calculation of Local Content using applicable formulae, to give advance warning to suppliers and service providers of compliance or non-compliance with commitments more

Formulation of Local Content Plans to provide a competitive edge when bidding on capital projects, where such Plans concurrently (i) align with the business development ambitions of the contractor, (ii) mitigate key risks to the client of sourcing from domestic suppliers, and (iii) support the industrial policy of the host Government.

LCS associates assisted an international remote site services company bid for a major facilities management contract for mining sites in the Pilbara, Western Australia. We understand that material to contract award was the offer to incubate locally-managed business units around selected service lines, and then later launch these businesses as free-standing locally-owned enterprises primed with the remaining term of the contract.
